It is estimated that 1 in 4 people in England will experience a mental health problem each year, but many will struggle to access psychological healthcare via the NHS owing to excessive waits of over a year in some areas. 

 

Often people who are struggling with their mental health find that before they can see a psychologist or specialist psychological therapist via the NHS, they have to go through several ‘steps’ and still may find that they are unable to gain the right support and treatment for their needs. 

 

We recognise that you may have had some ideas about what you want and need from therapy. Therefore, after an initial assessment, and with the support of your psychologist, you are able to create a bespoke therapeutic plan from the outset in terms of length of treatment (short or long-term), therapeutic approach or model (from a range of options), and mode of delivery (telephone, video conferencing and face to face).

 

Our psychologists are able to provide assessments, psychological formulations as well as specialist therapies for a wide range of difficulties including those not currently treated or offered within NHS services – just contact us to discuss your needs.
